MY FATHER WAS PRESCRIBED LORTAB FOR HIS SEVERE BACK PAIN. HE WAS TAKING VICODIN, BUT THEY STOPPED WORKING FOR HIM. HE LIKED THE FEELING THE VICS GAVE HIM AND THEY ALSO TOOK AWAY ALL HIS PAIN. HE SAYS THE LORTAB DO NOTHING FOR HIM, AS FAR AS MAKING HIM FEEL GOOD. DOES ANYONE KNOW WHAT THE DIFFERENCE IS BETWEEN THE TWO?
They are the same thing. You can get Lortabs in 5mg(hyrocodone)/500 acet. the same as you can Vicoden. Then you go to Vicoden ES which is 7.5mg(hydro)/650act. and lortab also goes to 7.5mg(hydro)/500 acet. then to the strongest lortab which is 10mg(hydro)/500 acet then Vicoden goes to 10mg(hydro)/650acet
They are all the same itis just the size of the pill that is different. They will all ruin your life if not careful. BTW I am almost 48 hours C/T just 1 darvocet every 8 hours for the aches.
could the stronger dose of hydrocodone be making your dad feel crummy in his stomach. Sometimes (I can't spell this one)nausea happens with the higher doses, but a good thing, is higher doses have less tylenol in them and tylenol is bad for the liver.
