Exclamation WD's are coming....

I never knew my 26 year old body could feel as lousy as I did when I woke this morning to go to work. Yesterday I (unintentionally) set a personal record of popping 11 TEN mg. Hydrocodones in a single day, I guess that for every action there really is a reaction. After popping 2 more this morning I called my dealer up to see if she had any to offer (I am paying $6 per 10mg pill) and she told me that her dealer was out of the stolen stash that he had. So now I am down to 23 TEN mg.'s to last me through the workweek....I have a 16 hour day coming this Sunday. I plan to save 8 for Sunday, and that will be the last of my supply. Going to doctors and getting pain pills is too difficult around here (believe me I have tried). Guess I don'y need to ask anyone for advice on what to do when my withdrawals hit me on Monday, for I have already read every post on the board going back to Page 1. Like I said in an earlier post, I plan to drink beer through my WD to ease pain and allow sleep, and I laso have a small stash of Ativan (prescribed from a doctor back in February when I had PLANNED to stop drinking) and a few Xanax stolen from my grandmother. Gonna get some Immodium and Acetomenaphen and Ibuprofen. Already have some vitamins. Seen Trainspotting about 10 times. Guess I am all set. I have detoxed from alcohol many times since age 17, but i have never detoxed from painkillers and I am scared as hell, especially since experiencing that awful pain this morning, along with the other symptoms (runny nose, watery eyes, yawning. Strange how you can feel pain that is not even supposed to be there, I was not in any pain before I started this thing with hydrocodones.

Thanks for listening, I will post again, I am glad I have found this place.

Jason, Remember that I warned you about using alcohol during your WD's. It might knock you out for a short time, but you will be in 10 times the misery when you wake up. Trust me, you can't calm this monster with alcohol, it is too powerful.
Just use the Ativan and Xanex, but be careful, you are going to want relief so bad that you might take them all in 24 hours.
I hope this will be the last time you have to go through this, but if you are an addict like me, you will do it all again and again.
This is a cunning and baffling disease. It will sneak up behind you, crawl up your *** and choke you from the inside out.
I have a nephew about your age and his name is Jason.
People on this board really do care. And most of us have chased that dragon more than once.
Stay in touch with us on you progress.
Good luck and God bless.

Jason: Though I have never met you I can almost feel what you are going through. Most all of us have been thru this and it's no fun for certain.

I can say I am impressed with your honesty, and I can offer you my support and good will, and prayers if you believe.

You can believe you will ask for a higher power in WD situations. There have been times that I had to be taken to the hospital by ambulance because I was so pale and my heart was skipping.

It matters not that I have very valid resons for taking meds...I am no better than any of you. I do offer as I stated....my complete support. Please keep in touch with the board.

The board is all we have when we are without any help that may underrstand. Take care, best wishes,

Risky Business

man you have all of our support right now. hope you can suceed. I am in te middle of it now and even though te symptoms are almost too much(I have not selpt a minute the last 2 days)as you can tell from my typing that my hands are shaking. I think my metal part will be the easy part. I have no doubt this will be it. I hat those pills more than anything in the world. If I were to luck up the definition of pure evil to me right now it is opiates. When my physical symptoms are gone, and I am not numb to life and able to smell the world clean...It will be a great day. and that is what you have to do when you are in the middle of them. I tell myself that it will not last my whole life(the pills can if I let them)the phyical part I mean. Sorry if I babble man but writing my feeling down is very therapuetic for me. So how are you now? Are you in the hanging in there. are you taking anything to help with the W/D symptoms? I had some darvocet that I have taken(have no more) to help me but I am only going to take my vits, my tenormin for my b/p and mvp, remeron(anti-depressent) and have one ambian coming to help me break through this sleepless pattern. Im hoping that since alot of my problems are being made worse since I am so sleep deprived I will wake up feeling a tiny tiny bit better than now...then better the next day(or week if it takes). Well hang in there man and stay safe.

peace

Tim

Hello Tim I was just coming to check on you my friend.
I hope that Ambien helps you sleep I know thats alot of your problem now. I can honestly feel what you are going through right now you have my heartfelt support I just wish I could do more for you. I hope your parents are being good to you I know they are but sometimes it takes someone thats been there to truly understand. You are starting to scare me though Tim get that Ambien into you and get some sleep or I will fly there with a hammer and knock yer butt out Haha couldnt resist. So what did you have for dinner? You did eat right? You NEED all your strength and if your not sleeping you need to be eating and I am sorry if I am sounding like a mother hen but when you finally sleep I will feel better ok? I will check in with you later and if by chance you do fall asleep have sweetdreams and see you tomorrow
Your friend
Autumn
