Well I dont know if this is the right thing but since my back surgery and the month before it I've been taking strong pain killers for 3months straight now, only missing three days once. Anyway I did get to a point where I was taking to manny at one time and it did make me feel real good but by doing that it made me run out early one time and I had to wait 3 days to get my refill, had bad withdrawals and that really scared me. So since then I had made my mind up that I was gonna tapper myself off of these terriable pills, but I started back to work this week and its really been painfull at times, at night really.Anyway I got to talking to a lady at work today about my surgery and told her how bad my body has become dependant on these pain pills. I told her that I had been taking too many at one point but now im not taking more than Im supposed to.The only bad thing I think I have been doing now is this, my script says take one pill four times a day as needed for pain but i have to take two or two and a half at one time at night because I do hurt that bad, but I never take more than 4 a day sometimes only three a day, anyway what she told me is that sure your body is dependant on the pills because you have been taking them for soo long every day but that I still need to take them while im huting and that as long as Im not taking more than Im perscribed then when its time the doctor will get me off them because he knows how long ive been taking them. I just hope she is right and that one day the doctor does'nt just say no more and I have to try cold turkey. She said he should help me finish tappering off when its time. Please tell me what yall think, cause there is no way that I can go through the withdrawals again!!! sorry soo long!
