Hi Tim
My GP put me on nystatin, she told me I don't think it is thrush, but use it and if it helps then great, she also refered me to a dentist that will do a biopsy, that appointment is in August. My GP said the word luekoplakia, which I already knew was a pre-cancerous condition.
I had another dental appointment on Thursday and he said it looks better than when he saw me a month ago, he said do what your GP told you, which was take the medicine for a week, which Friday was one week.
I get up yesterday and the one spot feels dry and sandpapery again. I went ahead and started the nystatin again.
My husband told me it still looks better than it did and to quit looking in the mirror every 5 minutes!
I suffer a little bit of anxiety anyway, so this situation does not help.
Sorry this got so long.
Tim, thanks for asking
Vick
