. . . just wanted to tell you that something you posted a few weeks back hit home for me yesterday. I remember you posted that when you were still using you noticed that in all your family photos you were buzzed . . . vacations, ball games, special events, etc.

Yesterday my husband took off work and we took our kids to a theme park. We were standing in a very long line for a family water tube ride (where he would usually be very impatient and moody!) and he said to me that he was having a great time and couldn't believe that he could go to a place like that and not use. He used to make sure he had enough pills to last him wherever we went, I'm sure you can relate.

Anyway, I know your wife and family must appreciate all you went through to get clean so you could enjoy times together with a clear head . . . just as you did with your father this week!

Hope, thanks for the nice note. I know just how your hubby feels, it really is nice not to have to plan ahead how many pills will be needed for a day or an event and when to take them to be high just at the right time. Being a drug addict took allot of planning lol

Well as 2003 progresses I'm replacing memories and pictures with new drug free experiences. It's so nice, hate looking at some of our family pictures, reminds of a dark period in my life.

Gosh life is really great for me and for my family. We all are truly enjoying each and every day. Right now it's about as good as it can get and that’s really good. Mentally, energy wise and overall I’m at the top of the world.
