Hey Spark, I just had it prescribed for me two weeks ago while going through withdrawals. It is a patch that regulates your blood presure and slows down your heart beat, so while you are going through w/ds it will REALLY REALLY help soo much, it stops your skin from crawling and stops the restles leg thing all together! There are three dif. dosages, Catapres one,two and three. I have Catapres one but I wish I had gotten Catapres two because I think it would have helped me even more. I know if you go to a doctor for withdrawal from opiates its usually the first thing they give you, like I was telling somone else on here you really have to be careful not to mix certain meds with it, especially anti-depesants, because it can be fatal!
