Post main-lining buphenorphine

when i first stated taking buprenex four years ago, i had just came off an addition to my opiate pain pill abuse and that was heroin...buprenex is the liquid form of bupenorphine, the kind you would get in the hospital..that is the way the pain clinic i went to dispenses the product...anyways, i intermusculary injected a 1 mil. vial 3 times a day(the way it was prescribed)...since i was a iv drug user for 6 months i thought i would give it a shot(nyuk,nyuk)...well, it doesnt produce euphoria,as any one can see thats on subox now.....i got the same results in the arm...ive read alot of threads about the nalox added to prevent this...the reason im puttin this out there,is there are any newbies who would consider i.v. drugs, forget it...you can have mucho problems doing drugs, especially runnin it straight to the brain...

Good post Chef. If you run the suboxone up your arm, my understanding is that you get the pleasure of going into immediate and severe W/Ds. "Do not pass 'Go', do not collect $200."

Personally, I never used the needle. That makes me no better than any other drug addict, I'm still a junkie. Anyway, I have no doubt I would have eventually started main-lining the oxys. Thank goodness for small favors.

well sparko....they are both long acting opiates...meth is better for pain control....bupe gives ya more energy, thats for sure..ive had lots better sex on the bupe...you can take more than prescribed bupe and not feel anything but if ya take more meth youll catch a buzz which aint good...thats what your runnin from...for 50 meth 10mg. it runs me about 18.00 which is one days supply of buprenex...id say from my own experience, i would choose the bupe, but i have a financial, pain issue......so i will detox very slow off the meth and its a false statement about meth's w/d's...if you do it right and slow plus have all the right medical components you should not have much discomfort with the meth...thats the thing also...you get w/d's from the bupe comparable to any other opiates if not done super slow and with support..........chef
