Hi all,
Just wanted to post an update on my fiance,Ted.He hasnt touched a painkiller since may 19(detox day)and he is doing incredibly well.He has been going to church and his recovery group faithfully and counsoling.Life has not been great to us since he has been clean, talk about being tested!Financial problems,work problems,people problems,ect;we have been hit with it all but we deal with it and most of all he deals with it straight.I couldnt be more proud of him.In closing,I would just like to say thanks again to you all, you helped me through one of the darkest times in my life and gave me the strength I didnt think I had. And Lisa Huub,you are always in my prayers.

i dont know deer,nor have i responded to any of his posts nor he mine..but i will tell him this....i am proud of him also and god bless....the good lord works in mysterious ways and you talk about tests...your dealing with alot of serious issues and he has not found comfort in runnin to the opiates which is kick butt...if anything,he has become three times as strong and what goes around,comes around...he will be blessed....just remember,if the thought sneeks up on him,snuff it out real quick....it will always be there....but so will goodness and greatness......god bless ya and hold that head up high..........the chef

Thanks for all your words of wisdom, and you are right, I didnt mention that since may 19, he has been tempted on ocasion,but with each day he seems to grow farther away from that life that he once lived,his recovery group has been a lifesaver for him... and this health board for me.Thanks again
