The "EP" on the pill usually refers to the pharmaceutical's initials, although some don't stamp it on. The number usually refers to either the ID number for the pharmaceutical or the doseage. I have a Physician's Desk Refernce that I am looking through it right now for you, and I have found nothing so far. This may be because it is generic. It's hard to tell. If I find anything, I will post again for you.
