Banker, Michelle, Stacie ??? about Sub

Hey guy's, I have a quick question, right now I feel soooooooo tired and lethargic. Today is day 4, so I'm wondering if you all think this is from Norco w/d's or if it is from the Sub. The last time I took a Sub (2mg) was about 10:15 this morning. I did just leave a message for my Dr to call me. Should I go ahead and take another Sub? I'm trying to be VERY cautious as to how I take them so I don't get addicted or so at the very least my w/d's won't be so bad when I stop taking them.

Maybe I will just go ahead and take one and see if it doesn't help. Hopefully it won't make me any sleepier. (Sleepiness seems to be one of the side effects for me)

Thanks for any advice,
Sammi

Re: Banker, Michelle, Stacie ??? about Sub

Sub WILL make you sleepy... no doubt about it. I'm very high strung so it doesn't really bother me at all during the day (except just sometimes) but see I take xanax on top of it sometimes and that REALLY makes me sleepy. Anyway, if you've only had one pill today, then I'm sure it's prob from wds and Sub. I know that's hard but I'm telling you, once you are on it for a little while, you will notice that at night, you will be very sleepy if you aren't doing anything. It definitely is a side effect. Let us know how you feel if you take another one.

I am guessing it is withdrawals- if you've only had 2mgs.

If you stay up and active, you shouldn't be extremely tired and lethargic, atleast I wasn't!

Since you have them and feel good about them, I would not try to "white knuckle" it- use them and take advantage of this time that you feel so good!

JMO!
Take care and keep me posted,
michelle

Re: Banker, Michelle, Stacie ??? about Sub

Hey guy's, thanks for your post. I went ahead and took another one about 3 pm and of course I felt MUCH better. I know this will sound silly, but I wish I could get on a set time of when I should take it. I'm trying to be so careful not to take too much. Maybe once I stop having w/d's from the Norco I will be on more of a schedule with the Sub. So once the Norco is out of my system and I won't be having w/d's from it, how will I know when to take the Sub? Does this make sense? I guess the Dr will go over all of this with me next Tuesday.
I'm sure a lot of you are thinking why in the heck did she start taking such a drug and not know some of these questions I'm asking. I swear my husband and I did lots of research on the Sub, plus what better way to get info than from you guy's. However, the dosage is confussing because like the Dr said, everyone's w/d symptoms are different so only the patient will know when to take a pill.

I am sooooo tired right now and hopefully I made some sense. I'm going to bed right now since I keep falling asleep at the computer, but I will post the rest tomorrow. My Dr did call me today and I asked him some questions about the safety of the Sub and if there were any new reports about it. I will fill you guy's in on tomorrow.

Michelle, it sounds like you are doing better today. Just keep hanging in there

Banker, I will go ahead and say a prayer for you tonight knowing that you are probably nervous for your flight home tomorrow.

Hope everyone gets a good nights rest.....
Sammi

Re: Banker, Michelle, Stacie ??? about Sub

Sammi,
So sorry I wasn't able to post earlier,my computer doesn't seem to want to cooperate anymore. To be honest, I don't know a whole lot about the sub, I've never taken it.But I DO know that withdrawal can make you feel exteremely fatigued, and in my case,I'm still fighting it, but I try to go outside, if only for some small doses of fresh air,to help relieve it a little bit and lift a lttle of the depression.I walk around feeling tired all the time right now, but at the same time, I can't fall asleep at night.Go figure.I also think that after so many years of abusing our bodies, our bodies are exhausted anyway. It takes quite a while for our brains and body to kick back into action after pretty much sleeping for so long, know what I mean?
I'm not sure I understand-SHOULDN'T there be a schedule for the Sub?Or do you just take it when you start feeling the withdrawal?I would think you should take it like twice a day, before you start feeling the withdrawal and then to kind of keep it at bay?Sorry I didn't have a whole lot to offer, but just hang in there. This is such a seemingly slow process, but it does get better.(Even though at times it may not seem like it)Stay strong, and when you go to the doctor on Tuesday, I'd take a LIST of questions(write them down!).Good Luck!

Hugs and strength,
Stacie
