I'm sorry, I never saw this post! Trying to coordinate the date for my surgery right now. It will be in May & I'm hoping for the middle of the month. I'll know by tomorrow for sure.
We're supposed to be out of here in a week and once I get to the new house, I'll need to rush to get things organized enough so that I can relax while I recover. I will totally stress out & want to do more than I'm supposed to if it's not done ahead of time. Hey Rosie, since we're going to be pretty close, you should be neighborly & come help me??? LOL...J/K!!!!!
I've told the Dr. that I'm already on pain meds & I have a big tolerance to them; just haven't said how many! For these next few weeks, I'm going to try again to work on getting down to 6-8. I will stress at my pre-op that I'm going to need really strong stuff at the hospital but from what I've read, they already give that anyway so I should be fine. The only thing I'm scared about is the anesthesia...I hate worrying if I'm going to wake up or not! To tell you the truth, I'm not afraid of the pain at this point...especially since I have felt so awful for years. I am just so excited about the prospect of getting better and anyway I'm used to having pain.
I will be writing more when I know the date and especially after the surgery...I am so curious to see how I'm going to feel regarding the pain pills!!!! Thanks for inquiring about all this.
