hi i been using crack for 9 months not much a day about one rock and recenty i feel bit of pain in my chest and my chest muscles tightening i was wondering if any others crack users have felt this if so is it serious or jsut too much adreline hormones in my system due ot the cocaine intake...i have been tryin to quit last 2 months i take both H and rock..i have done ok i stopped like week or 2 then relapse...but now ive decded to stop for good plz pray for me and i pray for anyone who is trying to stop and who has gone thorugh the cycle of rehab then relapse..

I say you should go back to rehab and try to stay for an extended period. You have to get yourself away from the dope. The dope is killing you and your body is giving you signals. Go do it.

I was a crack user for 13 years and herion for over 5 years. I had a heart attack at 32 and a stroke at 34. yes the drugs could be causeing your chest pai you have not been useing that long quuit now. and I mean now. do you really want to quit? cause if you do you can do it. I have faith and prayers for you! Please think about it seriousely. rehab is a good foot in the door but don't ever let them tell yu are powerless because you have all the power in the world and if you relapes do not beaat your sellf up about it. I was a cronich relapser but you'll get it. If you every just want to chit chat I am always around

thanks to both of you yes i have quit and will stay quit no point going on ...doing this crap...........but how much did u have to use to have the stroke or heart attack?

I was a crack user for a number of years. Do you feel the tightness in your chest while using, or after using? If you feel it while using, or within 6 to 8 hours after using you are overdosing. I did not know this until I went to my addictions doctor and asked the same question that you just asked. He said it is not uncommon for crack users to overdose and die 2 to 24 hours after using. The smoke from this drug eats away at the ventricles to the heart causes them to thin and then suddenly they break apart and you bleed internally, and it sometimes takes hours to die. I have known a few people that have had heart attacks that can be directly attributed to thier crack use. Humbleman, this is an extremely hard drug to get off of. It has no physical withdrawals however, it's mental power is powerful, baffling and cunning. I would suggest you reach out and get help anywhere you can. Do you go to NA?
