In the thread about goddessgrls taper the subject of weight gain has come up. I thought this subject deserved its own thread. I find that my appetite is way up! I'm Ok during the day but in the evening if I have a taste of anything sweet, I suddenly want to devour everything in sight, especially sweet things. I have never had a sweet tooth in my life I'm 51, I am kind of glad to hear it might be the sub, its worse than the "munchies", I go to the gym regularly and I don't have a weight problem, but I can see how I could as my eating has gotten out of hand. The other night my wife got us some Dove bars mmmmmm, but that wasn't enough, I finished a whole bag of Milano cookies! So, she now "polices" me like "No more honey you already had 2"

Anybody else have this "sweet tooth" going on?

Also, I would like to hear any sub taper to 0mgs stories, what its like, how long did it last, relapse? etc. Thanks......JT

I've gained ten lbs since starting suboxone! LOL! Thats alright, I'll deal with that, its a he11uva lot easier to deal with that then the constant search for percocet, the guilt, the shame and the physical toll.

I hate to admit this but since starting the higher dose of ultram(last December) I've gained a whopping 20 pounds. A little more actually. I'm quite tall so I'm not looking obese or anthing but I had to buy all new pants and I really really hate this bigger body. So it's not just suboxone that does this!

I'm On 12mgs Per Day 6 Months Clean But My Wieght Has Never Really Changed? I'm 6'5 255 And Last Vist I'm Pretty Sure She Said Roughly 257...........maybe Higher Doeses Effect The Metabolism?.

Oh boy..
Watch those sweets..im paying the price now..i got 20 lbs to lose-but ive read conflicting news regarding sub/weight gain..not everybody does.
I think its important to control the sweet stuff-have a treat-but try and stick to the healthy stuff-cos i can't seem to get the lbs off now-
i also have an ED-so i think-my issues are a mixed bag-
try to maintain-some exercise/hydrate..and ward off the lbs-otherwise they will stick like glue.
