Red face shooting up xanax

I found my son shotting up his xanax pills? first of all, is that possible? how can u shoot up a pill? im completely confused. does shooting up the pill have the same effect as taking it orally. i hate to admit im confused about all this. I know he had shot heroin before but i dont understand how u can shoot up pills safely? doesnt the crushed pill end up in the bloodstream if injected? isnt that dengerous? please help.

Wow, I'm so sorry to hear about this. If he used heroin before, he probably knows how to extract the pure form of the medication for injection use. Obviously, this isn't safe since it wasn't prescribed for use in this manner, correct? I hope you can convince him to get help.

Hi my goodness, it definately isnt safe you should try to get him help as soon as possible maybe through a drug rehab, maybe try calling and asking them how you can help, good luck Iknow this must be tough on a parent.
