My boyfriend is 2 days clean off meth - I am not going to raise my hopes but everyone say a huge prayer for him ok? Thanks. Chicago Girl if you are reading this - remember - if you marry a heroin addict - you marry a heroin addict - there are no two ways around it - heroin is hell and heroin addicts even recovering addicts battle for many years - I am a recovering heroin addict and not a day goes by that I don't think back to the good old bad days. its your choice though - I'm glad my loved ones didn't give up on me. in South AFrica we have an AFrikaans saying "Vasbyt!!" literal english translation is "bit hard, hold tight" till later, bye.

Hey, your boyfriend is in my prayers. I got off of meth after a 10 year habit and it wasn't easy. Support him, let him know things will get better... He will get his energy back and he will feel normal again after about a month. The temptation to use is so strong, but not impossible to resist. I was doing about $100 a day of the stuff and I haven't touched it or wanted to for over 15 years. It's a far far better way to live.

I'll keep both of you in my thoughts and prayers. I know this was a big choice as well as a hard choice, but sweetie, it's also a life choice and it sounds like both of you have chosen life! Best wishes!
