Day 17 Thanks Boardies - Addiction & Recovery Message Board

Boo everyone!! Beginning of Day 17 clean from oxys. For those of you who dont know, I was taking about 90mgs a day for about 3 months, and vikes before that for about 18 months. The last 2 months of the oxys were hell, because they were making me sick even on them, and I was just chasing away the w/d and didnt know it.

This day is pretty great. I have been having a real nasty, something is missing feeling, since the w/d stopped, and today that is gone. YAY!

Feeling good and surprisingly normal, considering the hell I been through. Most of ya know how that is! What doesnt kill you, makes you stronger right? And smarter.

Guys, and ladies, I cant thank you enough, ever. AC, Trying, Oz, Margine, Bolier, Buckeye and countless others. I can honestly say that I dont think i would have made it this far without this board and you guys. No one in my life understands this, the feelings and stuff, and you guys do. Aww geez I love ya, what can I say??????

Yes, this board and all these folks are an inCREDible resource.....it's awesome to have people who have been inthe trenches. But I think you would've done it anyways 'cause you were sick of living the way you were. Plus you didn't want to return to the vinyl recliners w/ the stuffing coming out.

LMAO!! Ok the vinyl recliners were awful, I was so not prepared for that. HEHE.

That will be a fun memory down the road... OOH I went to the nastiest detox, and i wasnt even a reaL junkie. It gets worse too.. Dinner was a nurse handing out ham on bread in a baggie. EWWWWWWWWWW
