| Re: xanax
Before I got hooked on pain pills, I was taking lorazapam, which I think is pretty simular to xanax. I got the lorazapam from a friend who's dr wrote her endless prescriptions for it and she shared with me. I've been suffering from anxiety for so many yrs I can't remember. My own dr prescribes clonazapam sparingly. For me the symptoms were basically I had to have it to relax, usually would take them after work. Then when work was extremely stressfull, I'd take the lorazapam to calm me down at work. In between waiting for my next batch of the loraz, I'd take the clonazapam to hold me over. Basically, I think if you have to have it everyday or you can't function, you've got an addiction. My Grandmother was hooked on tranquilizers from the time my Grandfather died when she was in her early 60s until she died at age 95. I used to joke that the tranquilzers are the reason she lived so long - no stress! But she was an old lady that got fired up about the smallest of things. Her docs tried to take her off them at one point and she couldn't do it. Finally decided she's (old as dirt as she would say) and just let her have them. God how I miss her.
