Unhappy Demerol Dependency or Addiction

I have been off and on Demerol for a couple of years for severe migraines to the point now where it basically has no effect on me. Some say i am addicted to it, but i feel that I have built up a tolerance to it. Its not something that i get regualry some times its months since i have had any, example of my tolerance to it, I can get a shot of 100mg of demerol with 25mg of bendaryl injection and i basically never go to sleep or it never makes me drosy, i dulls the pain a little, but not much. Please give me your input and what you think about my tolerance vs. addiction
