Gotcha, my wife an i are detoxing from opiates , stopped smokin mary a month ago an ciggies are next, Caffine i havent thuoght about. I likes my exspresoooo. I guess my point is we dint wanna stop evrything at once. Just our opinion

Im happy your cleaninng urself up way to go !

Hello Seeking. How you doing today!!
Just past my 48 hrs at 7AM !!

I am having sleep trouble. I'm totally exhausted by 9PM but just can't seem to get to sleep. I took 2 excedrin PM a couple of days ago and my wife told me I was talking in my sleep, flailing around, stealing the covers:-) only slept 4 hours.

Last night I took only 1 excedrin PM and slept for 4 hours but I took some advise from REACH. REACH said to try to do something I knew would make my body tired so at 2 AM I got up, got dressed and went for a walk. Yep at 2AM. My driveway to my home is 1/4 mile long so I just walked to the mailbox and back and I had a cigarette.

I tried to lay back down and no luck. So I listened to REACH and did the walk again.

It worked this time. I fell back asleep for another 2 hours or so.

Thanks REACH!!

Still have the loose stool.
I also feel chilly or cold all the time? Normal? Any feedback on this one?

I really feel pretty good this morning. Pretty pumped about 2 days clean.

I did just get up at 6AM so I'll chime in again with my progress.

This is fantastic...please anyone who thinks they just can't do it, you can. I have never gone this long without pot unless I was pregnant, and everyday gets easier. I almost forgot to post today because I have spent the day doing laundry, cleaning my house, paying bills....normal stuff that makes me happy.

Day Five
Happy Sunday,

I am going to church then visiting my cousin in the hospital who is dying of sclerosis of the liver.

She is 47 with a 14 year old daughter.

She had a chance 1 1/2 years ago when she was hospitilized with pnemonia.

She chose to drink.

Now she will be dead in 3-4 months.

Enough said.

Thank you Lord for this day, I will spend it clean and sober. Amen.

the thought of giving up smoking weed is harder than actually giving up - dont you think? esp if like me/you - its been something you have done everyday for a long time (15-20 yrs).

Day Six
My first clean Monday!! And I'm OK with that, which is amazing.

Valentines day is Thursday, I am planning a special dinner for my loving supportive husband.

Last nite we were watching a movie and there was a young kid smoking; and he looked at me and asked if I wanted to change the channel; I said no.

His smile made me feel more valued than any joint.

Untill a clean Tuesday.....

I was also thinking the same thing about myself.

I am going to take some advise from Yoss and start one thread and just keep posting to one thread.

I got here to day seven my listening and learning to it can't hurt.
