i discovered recently that someone close to me has been using crystal meth regularly as a stimulant/pick me up----but no so much to get tweaky---taking it in powder form through the nose and never smoking or shooting it..he has been clean for over a month now but has started having night sweats, fever (100+), torso rash, flu like symptoms, elevated heart rate, and restless sleep...he was checked for HIV and is negative but is wondering if this is a rare and delayed physical/mental craving for the meth or if it could be something else....anyone heard of these flu like symptoms so long after coming clean off meth? this board has helped me in the past and i was logging on to see if it could help him too....thanks!
