it has been going on ever since he was diagnosed with RSD, he is taking the oxycodone for his pain, which he is reliant on now, and STILL drinks. He has been an alcoholic since before I was born... I have no clue what to do, we tried to get him to stop, tried to threaten to leave, tried to get him into detox, but he keeps going on like nothing is wrong. I tell him his RSD gets worse when he is drunk and on the pills, and now its to the point where they dont even help. its horribble to watch him suffer, any advice would be great

Have you tried an intervention, consisting of close family members(including his brothers and sisters) or a support group?

Just a thought.
