Detox time again...

NO NO NO --I am OK, I didnt slip. Take a deep breath. LOL. My wife and I are starting a Body Detox tomorrow. I am actually a little nervous. It is a way to clean your whole body out for physical and spiritual reasons. I am actually looking forward to this. I have come down off my "high" of NOT being on hydro (70 days clean) and now I just feel like I need to finish the deal (so to say). never done anything like this before, so it should be interesting. I AM GOING TO BE SOOOOOOOOOOO HUNGRY. I love to eat. The only reason I exercise so hard each day is to eat, I swear. I will keep you posted. I promise you that if its anything in the "downstairs department" like withdrawal, then it will be over real quick. 5 days. Kind of another new beginning, but healthier. wish me luck.

Re: Detox time again...

Hi there,

My daughter is on day 6 of the same detox. Mostly juices and then after that veggie soup and salad get added. She says she's not feeling weak or anything like that. She's a vegan but manages to find enough to eat to be a little over
weight.

Good luck to you and Wife!

JB

Re: Detox time again...

I actually have been thinking about this. Not to the estream of not eating anything though, its too early in my recovery. I have to remember to HALT if iI am,
H-- Hungry
A-- Angry
L-- Lonley
T--Tired

These days, I am always tired after work, been eating like a horse and sometimes lonely. Angry is the only thing I havent experienced. But yes, I'd like to know more too!
Thanks!
Marilyn

Cant say the product or I would get in trouble, but it involves drinking a natural shake in the AM followed by a glass of water. Then a salad for lunch, another shake in the afternoon, a soup at dinner. All veggies, mild amount of fruit. NO dairy or meat etc. So, it reason is weight loss and cleansing. The main purpose is to clean the liver or its fatty toxins. I am going to try this for 5 days. I expect that the first 2 will be <very difficult>. My stomach will not like me in a few hours "GIVE ME FOOD"

Re: Detox time again...

is this like a detox where food is with held you and you are given daily colonics and enema's? my dad did this once and hated it. he went out at night and ate and drank. I hope you have a good time but it sounds a bit scary to me. good luck- I will be watching for your post. so what all goes on here? meditation, relaxation and no food? oh, god bless you, you have my sincere hopes for a good time.

Re: Detox time again...

I gots the rumblies in my tumblies!! Its not that bad once you get used to water filling you up. I never thought that BROTH soup would taste so good! I feel like I am on survivor. I really have no reason to do this except that I felt yucky. I was so proud of myself after getting clean from oxy and now that has wore off. I didnt feel right exercising or when I woke up in the AM. Felt bloated. Buddy told me about this and thought i would give it a try. Our livers need all the help they can get!!! I also eat alot of fish and this is suppose to clean the parasytic bacteria that the fish leaves on your liver. I can just see my liver now finally getting a well deserved bath! kinda cool. Post more later.
