Yeah. During detox, I had cold feet that would turn kind of purplish. My dad had the same symptom when he suffered with congestive heart failure. It scared me bad enough to go see the doc.
My doctor told me that detox is hard on the ticker. He said I would be fine and it would go away in time. It did.
It could be that the heart does not beat efficently because the body wants the drugs? Hands and feet are effected first by heart failure (I guess it is built into the body to pass on the lack of circulation to the limbs before the organs). I believe that my ticker did have trouble with detox. There is no way I could feel that horrible without it being hard on my heart.
No more cold feet for me
. I have been clean for quite some time, and my feet (and heart) are OK. My wife has cold feet all of the time, but she has low blood pressure.
