OK. So I had this horrible midterm for one of my classes. It is the only class that i have not understood. literally. the ONLY one! it is really frustrating and i spent about 12ish hrs studying for it. i took my Ritalin to help me study like my Dr. told me to. the only problem is instead of taking only 2 10mg pills twice a day(my max. dose) i took an estimated total of 625mg within 18hrs. As if my panic attacks werent bad enough when i only took 20mg!! so moral of the story is: dont take more than the prescribed dose!!! if you do be ready for the following:
Extreme Nausea(but you wont be able to throw up)
Severe Dizziness/Disorientation
Rapid Heartbeat(mine is about 125BPM and it has been about 10hrs since i last took it
Pressure In Chest(it feels like i cant breathe even though i know that i can)
Tenseness throughout your entire body
Uncontrollable obsessing (i definitely did math equations for over 3hrs to figure out what by what percentage i have exceeded of the avg heart rate or prescribed dosage of Ritalin avgheartrate:185% prescribeddosage:2083.3% <---- i am not even kidding)
So in closing, i know i messed up and i wont ever do it again but does anybody have any advice for how to feel better in the meantime??
