Re: vicoden detoxing

Hi Brandon

Nice to see you posting. There is a great thread at the top of this board named, "Sample Home Detox." It gives many great suggestions of things to help through detox. It is a very good starting point.

Another thing I would add is to get up and moving as much as possible. Running is great, but even walking helps tremondously.

Stay with us, ask questions, keep the hope alive.

All best wishes

Welcome!

I agree with the others who posted before me. It's the best advice you could take.

ALso, post and share what you are going thru because it will help you and many countless others out there if you feel comfortable to do so.

I'm Secrets, nice to meet you!

Re: vicoden detoxing

Welcome to the group and I also agree with everything said above, plus taper, taper, taper!!! The rule of thumb is taper down 10% per week, but adjust it to your own body's needs. Some can taper quicker, some have to take a break at a certain plateau, everyone's body is different and will handle the tapering differently. When you feel like you've tapered down enough ask the forum if it's the right time to go cold turkey and then go for it. I was impatient and when I was told it would take 6-8 weeks to taper, I was too pig-headed to accept the people's advice and I suffered from tapering too fast. Listen to the people here - we've been through it and keep us up to date.

Good Luck!!
