The answer - Naltrexone
I was taking 1 30mg Oxycodone once a day for about a year. Stopped taking it for 3 days. Then took 1 8mg suboxone because i was going threw opiate withdrawal. I then took another 8mg Suboxone 24 hrs later. I didnt take anything on day 3 and felt no withdrawal effect. The following day (48hrs later) I took 2 15mg Oxycodones and felt them almost to the point that I would normally feel them. Guess the suboxone was still in my system a little bit. Hope this helps.
And by the way....in Suboxone there is Bupenephrin and Naltrexone. Ive seen people wondering what does what. Bupenephrin is the Opiet and Naltrexone is the opiate blocker. Subutex only consists of Bupenephrin. You can get each one perscribed seperate if you wanted too.
You can also get injections of Bupenephrin to taper you off opiates if someone is on them to decrease withdrawal effects. This is usually done at an inpatient rehab facility. I dont know what the point of making subutex was for. Why not just make one medication with the blocker in it. The whole point of taking the meds anyway is to get off the opiates!! Dumb Pharmaceutical Comps. Hope I helped someone posting this. Be safe people. GO TO NA IF YOU ARE AN ADDICT!!! IT WILL SAVE YOUR LIFE!!! SWEAR TO YOU!!!!!
