Vicodin and Ativan
Im on Vicodin for legitimate pain. Is it safe to take Ativan with it?

I've been prescribed ativan for years, and have also needed to take Vicoden for surgery reasons. Hasn't really affected me but it all depends on the dosage of your script for Ativan....if you're taking it 3 times a day at 2.5 mgs, and have a script of V's at 5mgs probably just make you super drowsy. Wisest thing to do would be to check with your doctor.

I am coming in a little late on this, and hopefully you have checked with your doctor, but let me warn you.....Folks that are not used to combining these drugs, it can be very dangerous - especially breathing issues. Please check with doc. and follow instructions carefully.
