Thumbs up the physical withdrawl is over... on to the next

I have made it two weeks of being hydro free. It wasn't easy. The mainthing was the fatigue. I was perfectly content with laying on the couch for the next week or so. My hair was so bad that it looked like a animal has burrowed into it. I certainly had a au natural week. I'm sure my husband didnt day it... But there was a smell.

Now that I am a few weeks out. I am proud to say the animals that were in my hair have been evicted. The smell is gone, and I am no longer a pile of goo .so where do I go from here ?

Congrats on getting through the wds.Now you gotta stay clean. In the past that was one of the hardest parts for me. I,d go to meetings for awhile then start thinking that I was allright then the next thing... you know. Anyways, you could try NA meetings. Keep in touch.

I'm so so happy for you! I was thinking about you the other day, and again today. Good job.. now that it's over, remember how it sucked anytime you want to use again. You are gong to need to replace hyrdo with something else HEALTHY. Do you work out? I hear that is the best thing. I'm back to normal too... my wd wasn't so bad.. just tired... like... OMG tired. Glad its over. Now I'm back to abusing the 5 hour energy shots..... lol

Monoxide,

Was wondering how you are doing? Sure your hubby's not missing the lil furry's that lived in your hair for a bit, although some folks get off on the whole wild dreddlocks look.

hope your able to find that "thing" each day that gets you through and on to the next day. The "thing" that lets you know that what your doing is right, and good and you have a purpose and a path and a future that makes all this worth it in the end.

Take care,

Kat
