I would probably try reducing the daily number of pills by one, let the body adjust for 7-10 days before the next pill reduction. People have different levels of tolerence towards withdrawal symtoms. If the symtoms were more than I could handle, I would use a pill cutter or ask my doctor for a prescription that is half as strong, and reduce by half the current pill dose every 7-10 days. This would be 10% of what you are taking now. That is usually tolerable from my experience and others I know. Hang in there. It is doable albeit a little uncomfortable at times.

Reason: Error in typing: "7-10 pills" should have been "7-10 days".

do you mean reduce 1 pill a day but I did not unerstand the 7 to 10 pill remark? thanks
Please speak with your family physician before undertaking such a task.
Medical clearance is necessary,to avoid any unforseen complications in the near future.

My apology, I made a typing error which I have now corrected in my post. The "7-10 pills" should have read "7-10 days". Also, I would only do this if I had first discussed it with my prescribing doctor.
