 addisons disease questions
I am a health teacher and I have a 14 year old daughter that I think may have addisons disease. We had her tested for thyroid, anemeia, etc. on monday, everything looked normal. we are having the test for addisons on monday. she is always tired and getting worse. she has always been an athlete and it is showing in her ability. she is always cold, she has had hair loss. I notice her constantly drinking and eating an enormous amount of salt. she salts chips, everything. she has lost probably 30-35 pounds over the last year and a half, but i thought that was due to the way she was eating. she eats nothing with fat in it, alot of vegetables, etc.
