Don't despair. There is lots of help out there. I do have 2 wonderful twin boys that keep me pulling my hair out most of the time. They are 8 years old now. I got very sick after my first pregnancy after I had their older sister.

I did need help from a fertility clinic. We decided to give it a try and see if it was something easily overcome. And it was- they tried about 2 months of estrogen to see if they could get a period started (and it did). And then during the 2nd months started the pergonal/metrodin injections daily. That was to bring on ovulation (and it did) but it took almost 2 weeks of daily injections. That cycle did not take (no pregnancy). The 2nd attempt with the injections was about a month later and it only took about 6 days of injections- and that cycle took. As a precaution the dr. wanted me to continue HCG injections every 5 days for the first few months to help maintain the pregnancy. She had had a patient similar to me that was helped by this after several miscarriages.

My dr. did tell me that taking Clomid (a drug often used to induce your cycle) would not work with me because it works on your pituitary (and then the pituitary works on your ovaries). In my case the pituitary is disfuctioning so she wanted to use the pergonal/metrodin which works directly on the ovaries.

Also, just for clarification- after the injections of pergonal the "rest" of the process was natural. In other words, no in-vitro, or artificial insemination.
I was thankful for that as that gets extemely expensive here. I notice where you are posting from and hope you have facilities that are available to help you with this. Best of luck to you!
