I'm confused!

What is the difference between Addison's and Congenital adrenal hyperplasia?
I am currently undergoing tests and heard CAH mentioned a few times but I have the symptoms of Adddison's. I was also told by my doctor to wear a medical alert tag that says, "Adrenal Insufficiency, on Prednisone". Does this mean I have Addison's? I am awaiting test results right now so I will be more exact on this.

Re: I'm confused!

Sarah, I don't know the answer to your questions, but if you get a braclet be careful about putting a med on it that could change. You may not always take Prednisone & could put "cortisol" or "steriod" on it instead.
