Blood vs. Saliva- which is more accurate?

I have been having numerous hormonal problems and dx. premature ovarian failure. My am serum cortisol levels have been 7, 6.2, 5.7. On ACTH stim test post cortisol level was 20. I am concerned whether this is accurate because I am on high Estrogen replacement and have read that Estrogen should be discontinued for 6 weeks prior to testing.
I am awaiting the results of 24h UFC, serum cortisol and ACTH. On the same day, I decided to do saliva testing for cortisol even though my dr. doesn't believe in them.
Results:
morning 16.5H (norm 3-8)
noon 1.1L (norm 2-4)
eve .4L (norm 1-2)
night 1.3 (norm .5-1.5)

Can anyone help me make sense of these? And why does my serum cortisol consistently show low but my saliva is double the norm?

Thanks.

You're not the only one who wants to know

I took my saliva test to my Endo this past Tuesday. While he did believe it, he still wanted to run a ACTH, Cortisol and TSH as well.

I'm interested to see what the difference is. A friend of mine is going through the same thing. His results were very close to mine. His tests threw blood came back fine, and he's left untreated. He also is just like me (went through a very stressful time, and fatigue is what started through this)

Here is my saliva test.

Morning 3.8 ---- Normal range is 3-10
Noon 0.9 ---- Normal range is 2-4
Evening 0.1 ---- Normal range is 1-2
Night 0.1 ---- Normal range is 0.5-1.5

I'm worried that my ACTH/ Cortisol test will come back fine, and I'll be stuck again with no help.
