Hi a member of my family has been diagnosed with Addisons. We Know nothing really about it. He is continually having episodes where he can't breathe and it lasts about ten minutes. Has anyone else had this problem? How long does it take for the medication to take effect?

hi, my name is luke. i was diagnosed with adersons about 2 years ago.
i have trouble breathing sometimes but its not very often since ive been taking hydrocortone. this has worked for me and i hope it will work for your close one.

Hi,

What meds is your family member on for Addisons? Low blood pressure had me not being able to breath before I was diagnosed. Once I started on my meds which are Hydrocotisone and Fludrocortison and then make sure to get extra salt every day and drink plenty of water I am doing fine. No more trouble breathing unless I run too hard.
