Cortisol saliva test help please

Hi all,
new here. I have been hypothyroid apparently for years, but have only recently been diagnosed, and also have adrenal fatigue. My cortisol test results were
8am 4.00 (3.00-10.00)
12-1pm 2.10 (0.60-2.50)
4-5pm 0.10 (0.60-2.50)
8-9pm 1.30 (0.60-2.50)

I'm currently taking HC, 20mg per day in 4 doses, and am also up to 2 grains of natural dessicated thyroid. Can you please tell me what your opinion is of those cortisol levels? That test was done 12 days after discontinuing DHEA supplements, and two days after discontinuing levothyroxin (25mg) which I'd started two months previously, but discontinued when I had palpitations and chest pain, and was restarting again, but decided to stop it and go onto natural hormone after doing the test - and I wasn't taking anything else at the time.
Thank you

Re: Cortisol saliva test help please

Hi, I am new as well. My last cortisol tests were done, one in the morning and one in the afternoon.

AM Test: 0.02
PM Test: 0.11

I currently take 20mg of Hydrocortisone as well but I take mine all in the morning or I suffer terrible insomnia.

Re: Cortisol saliva test help please

I thought I read that cortisol tests are useless if you are already on replacement HC. Somebody please reply and let me know if that's right.
