if anyone could give me some suggestions as to what they think i have, that would be amazing.
i've been sick since nov '08, i got mono when i was almost 17. i was sick for a month and slowly started to get better but started getting sick and throwing up after eating certain things. in feb 09 my family and i went to puerto rico for a long weekend and when i came back, the vomiting increased to anytime i ate anything. i was hospitalized for a week and then transferred up to iowa city children's hospital by ambulance. after a month up there, i was diagnosed with stage four hodgkin's lymphoma. i had a port put in and biopsy but after a few months, the cancer cells were gone. i still had vomiting and excruciating low back pain. i was hospitalized a bunch more times and had a feeding tube for two months. i got my gallbladder out in april '10 and went up to mayo clinic for a month in aug '10. i was diagnosed with gastroparsis but as of now my doctor won't do anything for me and keeps saying see you in a few months and go from there. i've lost over 50 lbs and it keeps declining.
my symptoms include:
abdominal pain
chest pain
low back pain
swollen lymph nodes
night sweats
discoloration on back of right hand (only when i start getting sick and this happened in nov 09 when i first got sick and my mom thought it was frostbite since it was winter)
chronic constipation and diarhea when i start getting sick
vomiting (everything/everytime i eat)
nausea
feeling like i have to go pee all the time even when i dont
extreme fatigue
muscle weakness
i had some labs done and my c reactive protein was elevated along with other things. i have had every test done from scans to bone marrow biopsies.
im 19 now and im so frustrated and so tired of being sick. i can't even make it to work some days. if anyone has any ideas that would be awesome.
my mom thinks it's addison's and my gi doctor told me he thought it was that a few years ago but never tested. any input would be greatly appreciated!
thanks
