I also have recently been diagnosed with addisons disease. Im not on cortisol yet either. Extreme fatigue as well. I too have gained weight and just wanted to respond to a thread. I cannot figure out how to respond to threads I have a history of a recent thymus tumor resected also recent diagnosis of sjogrens - I ve had a pituitary/hypothalamic problem since age 17. Mis diagnosed in my 20s and I was gaining weight then. I had a TRH test that showed my prolactin was elevated. If you are gaining weight, you may have hyperprolactinemia or a thyroid problem. My dr is checking a hypoglycemic test to show the function of my pituitary gland. Im just waiting for scheduling.
