I don't know the answer to your stim test question but know that there are reasons, other than Addison's, for adrenal glands to fail. If I had all the symptoms and had a low test I would find another Endocrinologist.

You can even ask your primary doctor for blood/urine test requisions to do when you are having symptoms. If they come back normal you will have some peace of mind.

You can also go to a psychologist to rule out anxiety/depression. I did that and though they didn't find depression/anxiety they were able to help me cope with bad doctors and chronic illness until I got to the right doctors/diagnosis/treatment.
