My 80 year old mother learned May 20 that she has a heart tumor (left atrial myxoma). She is to see a cardiologist early Monday morning at which time a procedure may be done. Our family has never dealt with this condition and would like to hear from those who have experience with it. What questions should be asked of the doctors? What treatment did you choose and what were the results? Anything about your experience would be of interest to us as this is the first time we've even heard of it.
