Re: Breast pain in postmenopausal women
Yes, it is very possible, there are different reasons for breast pain and women don't become immune to breast pain just because they are post menopausal. I had breast pain, and went and had it checked out. My doctor explained that even though a woman is post menopausal she can still have occasional hormonal flucuations or estrogen surges which causes some fullness and pain. Cystic breasts, some medications, GERD, caffeine, and even stress (yes, it's said that stress can cause breast pain) Please note that I am referring to conditions that cause temporary breast pain. If one has prolonged breast pain, it needs to be checked out by a doctor.
