Thank you both for your input. Mom fell because she was trying to get a box out from under the bed, which she not have been doing. She turned around to get her walker and her foot got caught in the leg of the walker. I have read on line some medical articles. They all said to apply ice, make sure she rests and keep her leg elevated. I have done that and tonight she was able to stand without too much pain. I spoke to her about going to the hospital and got a NO. She wants to try and see if she gets better on her own. I am not arguing with her for now, but if I see no change in a few days she will have no choice.
