It all depends on the age, if you are young, losing weight can make you look younger, but if you are in your 50's and up, then losing too much weight can make you look older not younger. Besides the age, it also depends on how many pounds a person is overweight, if they were a lot over, then losing weight won't hurt those people, infact some weight losss will probably be good them, but it's the ones that were close to normal and lose weight that it may show on. It's the ones that are said to be underweight to begin with.
Some people are naturally thin adults, others become that way because of disease or other conditions.

My problem is being underweight, it doesn't suit me at all. I'm not asking to put on a whole lot, maybe 10 to 12 pounds will be fine.

I think the big giveaway is the hands and neck. That,s what I look at first when someone is trying to act younger then they are.
