Hi guys,
I do alot of research on my allergies and my inner ear disorder. I found this in an article about how difficult dealing with allergies can be:
Allergic Responses (one or more per allergy)
Ear-Nose-Throat: nasal congestion, sneezing, itching, cough, temporary hearing loss, ringing in ears, inner-ear difficulty (loss of balance), infections.

Eyes: blurry vision, itching, watery eyes, light becomes painful, blepherospasm (twitching), swelling, redness.

Gastrointestinal: dryness of mouth or salivation, mouth sores, itching in mouth (upper palate, chin, throat), stinging, toothache, burping, reflux (heartburn with bile taste in mouth), various forms of indigestion, swallowing difficulty, cramps or constipation.

Heart: pounding, increased pulse rate (tachycardia).

Lungs: asthma (wheezing, coughing, excess mucus, tightness in chest), infection.

Muscles: fatigue, pain, stiffness.

Nervous system: headache, dizziness, drowsiness, mood alteration, concentration difficulties, inebriation, linguistic amnesia.

Skin: itching and burning (often accompanied with rash), flushing and tingling, temperature change. Many sting allergies (bees, ants, etc.) result in hives, blisters, etc.

Urinary: urination difficulty, bladder control problems.

Thanks for the info. I think this foggy head thing has to be allergies for me. Although I think antibiotics trigered this hell for me last June. I recently was allergy tested by the top doc in the country and tested positive for all airbornes and Yeast. I just started shots and am trying to be yeast free for the last two weeks. So far, no help. I'll let you know how it goes. Did you ever try that Chlor-trimeton that Cutthroat says helped him? I'm curious. I tried it for a day and it made me sooo sleepy. Let me know if you find anything that helps!! Thanks again for the update. Where in Tampa, my sister lives there?

Geez -- After reading all those symptoms, it's a wonder we're still alive.

And yes the C-trimeton did make me sleepy the first few weeks - but eventually it went away for me. And it's still working for me. Without it I would be going to see Dr. Kevorkian!

It's been workin for 3 years now!

Hi ny01,
I live in North West Tampa. In the burbs. Yes, the chlortrimiton made me too sleepy too. I tried it for almost a week and jsut couldn't function on it. Even if I took it at night. Glad to hear you are seeing such a good doctor. I don't think mine is aggresive enough. Talk to you soon!

Hi ice and ny -

I 've had many of the symptoms you list above. The foggy headed feeling is the worst. After visiting this site for the first time las year, I started taking C-Trimeton, on Cut-Throats suggestion, and it really has made a BIG difference. I'm only taking the lower (3mg.) dosage, so I got used to the tired feeling fairly soon. I would start with that, and see if helps. Take it for a couple of weeks and let us know how you're doing.

It figures, we're now getting mid-60 degree weather in January, and I can feel my spring allergies starting to kick in.
