Post Bitter taste in mouth, allergy related?

Could this be allergy related? I have never been diagnosed with allergies, but I do have sinus problems every once in a while, especially lately, and the back of my throat always feels sore and dry, especially at night.

For the last two weeks I have had this constant bitter taste in my mouth. It gets worse when I eat certain foods, especially sugar. Does anyone know why this would be happening? Or what I can do or eat to cure it. Any help would be appreciated. It is getting extremely frustrating.

Thanks

Shel
