growing INTO allergies? - Allergies Message Board

this seems to be happening to me.. i know people have often grown out, but i seem to go in the opposite direction. now that i'm in my 20's i have several allergies. anyone else grow more allergies with age? i hope this stops!

I know a number of people who didn't have any allergies until well into adulthood. Mostly seasonal related allergies. Have you moved or changed job locations? If so, there could be environmental things you're allergic to that you weren't exposed to before.

no- i haven't moved to a new region or made any big changes in my lifestyle. i just keep picking up new allergies. i started with dust about 10 years ago, and now i have added peanuts, mold, ragweed, and dogs.

The same seems to be happening to me too... and yes, with seasonal allergies.

The same thing is happening with me; I started getting allergies at 32! AND, they seem to be getting worse every summer.
