Scruffy,
First, go in the net and type in nasal coblation, you'll find a good description. Flonase causes bleeding sometimes if you use it incorrectly, it cannot be sprayed directly onto nasal tissue and, while using any nasal spray, it's also helpful to use a saline nose spray (from any drugstore); use it to keep nose hydrated. Nasonex...hope you have better luck than I did...didn't work for me. And, nasal turbinates are the bony areas covered in tissue (of course,)they are not the tissue. If your doc decides on a turbinate reduction, know that its removal of the bony areas, not tissue reduction as in the coblation. Hope this helps! Good luck and use the net for more research, you can actually find all details of these ops on there.
