Yes, the chlorine poster is me. I often think about how many people could be out there coughing away gettting sicker and sicker and doctors say they have asthma or cough varient asthma or they say we dn't know WHAT you have and they go on without help or relief.
Our kids coughed for ten months. After switching to bottled water the coughs stoppped within two days or so.
After that the only thing that still bothered our smaller 3 year old was the morning after a bath she would cough some but it was very mild. I could detect this because she didn't take a bath every night. It was a pattern that lasted another year until we moved and we then had well water to bathe in instead of chlorinated water from the public water system.
I figured the closed space without proper ventalation and likely drinking some while she bathed (she was 3 years old at the time).
Several time since our son has fallen victom to forgetting about the chlorine sensitivity and drank school water after gym class and started coughing in a couple of days. The first thing I always ask even before "Do you have a cold" is, "Have you been drinking someones water" The cough stopped in 24 hours. It can make him very sick if the also has a cold and gets chlorine water he even wheezes.
