| Re: Allergy Shots
No, you do not have to go and have it done. My hubby did his own allergy shots for 5 or 6 years. They mailed his medicine to him once a month and he bought his syringes at the drug store. It was all dated and we kept it in the fridge. He did have to keep track of what leg he did them in so if he had a slight reaction he could just call them and they would send him new stuff. I watched him do it many times and I had to learn how to give it incase he had a bad reaction. He got a different bottle of epidrene, I think it was, for if he had a severe reaction. He never did so I never had to do one shot. He did 4 shots every week. The needles are very little and he could do all the shots in just a few minutes. So go call the allergist and I bet you can do it yourself. Sure saves alot of time and energy in making that trip every week. The kids always liked to watch him give himself shots too. Good luck!!
