throat symptoms and allergy - Allergies Message Board

Can allergies manifest as mostly throat symptoms? I get dry, tight, scratchy, feels like something in there, or feels like a drawstring in the back of my throat, but my sinuses dont seem bad. I have been checked by an ENT and my regular Internist.

I had lots of throat and tongue problems and found out after extensive search that I am allergic to nuts and cinnamon.

I think is definately a food alergy.
I am alergic to a lot of things .Peaches and necterines give me that description of dried out throat within seconds of swalowing making me try and clear my throat ,making it worse as its the alergy fooling me.if you can pin it down then you can avoid it best of luck
