Do air purifiers really help for allergies? I am tempted to buy the one advertised at Home Depot for $150. (The Honeywell Enviracaire 60000). If I decide to buy one, which one do you recommend? I'd rather have one where I can just clean the filter instead of buying a new one. Thanks

Honeywell is one of the best brands ever. Recommended by the American Lung Association. Be careful not to buy anything with an ionizer, or at least don't use that.

Air purifiers help, but they are not the be all end all. I have always had one in the bedroom, but bought another for the living room when we got a dog. It made a big difference. Be sure to buy one that is good for the size of the room you will be using it in. (Both my air purifiers are Honeywell)

I purchased a breeze AT by ecoquest. They are pricey but i like it. They claim to do your whole house not just the room that it is in. I separately sanitize each room monthly.

I've been looking for you. Do you still have dizziness?

Here is what happened to me. I had surgery on March 19th -it went great. I was feeling great for months, but then I went to see my ENT for a checkup, and he did an endoscopy. 24 hours later, I started getting dizzy again (I hadn't felt the dizziness since December). Now, I have big time pressure and mild dizziness. The doctors don't see any bacteria in the sinuses, just some inflammation.

Didn't something similar happen to you? What ever happened?
